Graph-Pak growth continues
with a new office and showroom located in Caringbah, New South Wales.
For the first time since opening in 2006, we are able to offer a
demonstration centre where our suppliers’ equipment can be
put through the paces in a live production style environment. Big plans
for 2008 in our showroom include an Autobond laminator with perfector,
so stay tuned!
We are now holding several lines of consumables on site with a second
warehouse in the Western Suburbs holding a national distribution base
for our laminating films. This has been a success story since starting
up in June of this year. Our supplier PKCC is one of the
world’s largest suppliers of BOPP thermal laminating film.
Customers can now also source our products through our new offices
located in Penrose New Zealand. More plans for further expansion in New
Zealand in 2008 are being explored at present.
Graph-Pak’s position in Melbourne has strengthened
substantially over the last 12 months as a result of our alliance with
TRS. We continue to explore further expansion into the Victorian market
in 2008 with more sales staff planned for the business.
Our agencies continue to grow with newcomers Pierre Callet from France
who offer a wide range of bindery equipment and automation, heavily
reducing labour costs in pad making, spine taping and guillotining. A
video of the Pierre Callet pad making system is available on the
Graph-Pak home page or a personal copy is available on request.
Kohmann from Germany has also joined Graph-Pak to increase our
portfolio in packaging and post press. One of the world’s
leading manufacturers for carton converting machinery, Kohmann has a
wide-ranging portfolio consisting of:

Great news from Autobond!! From December 2007 onwards all new Autobond
laminators will incorporate webcam and Skype phone facilities, which
will give the company the ability to provide customers with instant
advice if they are experiencing a problem during production, regardless
of where they are situated.
Autobond laminators have incorporated Siemens electronics for years and
this has enabled the company to offer remote diagnostic facilities
using a standard telephone line, but now Autobond is taking this
concept of remote diagnostics to a completely new level. Mounted on the
machine is a wireless Panasonic Network Camera, which the operator can
pick up and move around as instructed by the engineer. Autobond will
also provide customers with a Skype telephone, which gives free
unlimited telephone calls over the Internet to an Autobond engineer.
This means that if a customer is experiencing difficulties, he can call
us locally or Autobond on the Skype telephone and be put straight
through to a highly experienced engineer.
In addition, the system will have a built-in microphone so
that
the engineer can listen to the sounds made by the various parts of the
laminator, which is extremely valuable in diagnosing problems. The
system is wireless, so the equipment is not intrusive in any way and
the cost is so little that Autobond will absorb it into the normal
selling price with no increase to customers.
Graph-Pak would like to wish you all the best for the season and the
New Year. Please note that all consumables will be discounted between
5% and 10% in December, and also that our offices will be closed from
Monday, 24th December to Tuesday, 8th January 2008.
Enjoy the newsletter. We hope to hear from you soon. |
