web cleaners proved a real attention grabber at Labelexpo, Belgium last
month. The ‘NW’ narrow web [200-800mm] single and double
sided micro contamination removal units were the subject of keen
interest from visiting quality label printing companies around the
globe. Negotiations are concluding on the supply of a first unit to
Russia.
New distributor requests were received from companies in India, Brazil and the UAE.
Visitor interest was equalled by that from other exhibitors such as leading printer manufacturers.
New product launches include a cleaning unit to deal with contamination
on the edges of high speed wide webs or narrow webs up to 500m/min,
designed at the request of a leading Japanese converter.
A variation of the ‘NW’ has been designed for a Swedish
printer manufacturer. Rather than the ‘clamshell’ access
the single side unit pivots to allow web access.
Next month Yieldmax will be exhibiting web and sheet cleaning
technology at the World’s leading Electronics manufacturing trade
fair in Munich, Germany.
