 RIMA-SYSTEM presents the RS 820
rotary knife trimmer for precise trims at the highest speeds. The
machine is the ideal
solution for almost every application including newspaper and
rotogravure productions. Whether inline or offline the trimmer
guarantees a high trimming quality with many unique features:

The RS 800 series of RIMA-SYSTEM has been constructed to offer superior
ergonomics and an easy operation. Every part of
the machine is easily accessible. The operator can access all controls
from either side of the machine thanks to the swivel
mounted operator panel and a complete set of handwheels. The knife
change takes only a few minutes by the simple removal of
8 screws.
The affordable investment combined with low operating and knife costs
result in a fast return on investment. The inexpensive
carbide knives can be easily resharpened and last for up to 800 Million
copies! State of the art manufacturing guarantees a
reliable operation with minimum wear and tear on the machine. In the
special version for newspaper applications the trimmer is
equipped with non-marking belts.

RS 32 High-end
Compensating Stacker
 The
RS 32 High-speed
compensating stacker is ideal for all high speed/high volume
applications at speeds of up to 120.000 cph. The high, three-stage
upper bin with slightly inclined forks forms neat
drops that the turntable, with integrated compression plates, turns
into perfect stacks. The
“intelligent“ pusher in combination with the
pivoted delivery table guarantee soft and controlled stack ejections
even at shortest cycle times. Ease of
operation is provided by the swivel-mounted guard for the upper bin,
the two central hand wheels on the back of the machine and the
color touch screen.
In addition the compensating
stacker incorporates many intelligent and helpful details. Large
swivel-mounted guards, central hand wheels at the back of the machine
and a graphic touch screen
guarantee ease of operation. RIMA-SYSTEM improved the infeed cover by
switching to a solid “industrial“
steel-design with observation slits. Like all other RIMA-SYSTEM
compensating stackers the RS 32 is built to have a long life with
minimum operating
costs. Movable parts have been minimized, significantly reducing wear
and tear on the machine. Adding the high upper bin and
special non-marking belt options make this the ideal machine for the
newspaper printing industry.
