The
governmental printer BPH in Belarus
has installed three RS 3217 newspaper stackers behind their Uniset 75
press. Thanks to their three-stage upper bin and modern
servo-technology the high-end
machines process the newspaper productions of the Uniset into perfect,
stable stacks which are safely ejected by an
intelligent pusher-system onto the delivery table. During extreme
production conditions (very few copies per stack and thus very low
cycle times) the stacks can be ejected alternating right or left.
In another installation the heatset and coldset productions of a Tensor
press with two folder deliveries are processed by RIMASYSTEM Post Press
system consisting of floor conveyors, two RS 820 rotary
trimmers and an RS 230 multi-format tower. Productions that are trimmed
on three sides are realigned by the
bumpturn. Untrimmed productions and productions which are only trimmed
on head and foot use the flow-turn of the tower. Some of
the conveyors have been installed into the floor and have been covered
with metal grids. This guarantees an optimum accessibility
to all parts of the installation.
