Autobond has had its best Graph Expo ever, with
seven orders taken during the show for the MINI 105 model alone. The
Derbyshire manufacturer took a MINI 105 TPH and an Edgemaster 76
encapsulator (edge seal machine) to the recently held USA printing
exhibition and sold both of these on the first day.
“We had a tremendous response to the MINI 105 TPH, which is a B1
thermal perfector equipped with a Heidelberg feed head,” says managing
director John Gilmore. “A lot of visitors to the stand were amazed by
the laminator’s small foot print and I think this emphasises just how
important space is to printers, regardless of what country they are in.
“We also heard a lot of comments about the MINI 105’s value for money
and we expect that this model will become the best selling laminator in
our range. Printers sat on our stand calculating output speeds, format
sizes and installation costs and obviously a significant number of them
were sufficiently impressed to place orders there and then. Orders came
from printers and finishing houses as far apart as Chicago, Toronto,
California, Texas and Massachusetts.”
